Overview of Position
Designs a complete and complex framework, system, or product. Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system design weaknesses. Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems. Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Works with product development management, product managers, and software engineers to lead architecture design for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) applications providing comprehensive design guidance.
- Proposes and develops architecture designs and blueprints while ensuring it supports all encompassing product areas and is aligned with the broader architecture design principles and technology strategies.
- Fully capable senior software engineer, who can and will actively participate as individual contributor to critical RCM BU projects.
- Leads software engineers to ensure designs are being implemented properly.
- Leveraging existing design patterns while also proposing modern replacements. Able to formulate solutions to seamlessly migrate from legacy approaches to state-of-the art design patterns.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- 5+ years of software development experience, specifically web-based systems
- 8+ years in the architect capacity within Microsoft .net / C# framework
- Extensive experience developing and designing services with micro service architecture
- Experience working within architecture of cloud technologies – AWS
- Knowledge of best practices and internet security principles.
- Familiarity with TeamCity, Git, DevOps, and CICD pipelines.
- Familiarity with best practices related to agile software development principles.
- Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate and brainstorm with other architects, software engineers, product owners, quality assurance, operations, and support.
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
- Expert solution design skills and understands enterprise scalable architecture design principles.
- Advanced in-depth proficiency in multiple relevant software engineering design processes
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise-grade projects and cloud technologies.
- Experience in full lifecycle system development: architecture, design, building, testing, deployment, upgrade, and support
- Working knowledge of relational cloud databases in AWS.
- Development experience with C++.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation
- Experience with Octopus
- Any AWS Certifications
- Any SAFe Certifications
